About Male Medial (Inner)Thigh Lift
You may be a candidate for a Inner Thigh Lift procedure if you have experienced a loss of skin elasticity of the thigh, hip, or buttock areas. You may also desire this procedure if your skin in the thigh area is saggy, has an orange peel, flabby and/or dimpled appearance. The procedure may also be indicated if your thigh appearance improves dramatically when you lift the lax skin. If you are self-conscious about your lower body appearance you may also want to look into this procedure. The procedure is intended to produce tighter, more attractive thigh and buttock skin with improved contours. It is also intended to decrease irregularities in skin surface.
Inner Thigh lift surgery removes excess skin and fat from your inner thighs. The goal of the procedure is to improve the appearance of your thighs by removing the "dimpled look" produced by cellulite. In most cases the procedure is more effective for the front and side thigh areas, less effective for the back and inside areas. The incision does leave a scar at the hip, but it fades in time and can be hidden by a bathing suit.
The surgery begins with an incision in the groin area, near the hip. After the incision is made, Dr. Broujerdi separates the skin on your thigh from the fat and muscle below by pulling the flap of skin upwards. Then, he removes the excess skin and stretches the remaining skin back in place. Additionally Dr. Broujerdi can perform Liposuction of the thighs at the same time to create a skinner and smoother contour to the thighs.
When the procedure is complete, Dr. Broujerdi closes the incisions with small stitches and covers them with bandages. A small drainage tube may be inserted in your skin for several days to drain excess fluid from the surgery.
