A neck compression garment may be worn for five to seven days after surgery to reduce post-surgery swelling.

Procedure is usually preformed as an outpatient surgery in an accredited ambulatory surgical center or hospital. Dr. Broujerdi prefers seeing his patients the next day for follow up. You should expect a minimum of one week of down time after this procedure, some patient will require longer healing period.
